This serves as a good memory for me. It was a day that I walked around downtown Loveland with my father just to practice taking photos. This is a sculpture that is on 4th Street in Downtown Loveland.
I inherited my passion for photography from my father, James L. Digby. My fondest memory of him is that he could take a picture of something as ordinary as a bolt and produce a Fine Art piece you would want hanging on your wall. It was nothing for him to go into the grocery store and re-arrange some vegetables to take an award winning photograph. He taught me the patience to wait out the cloud that just came in and ruined the light that we wanted, or sit on a hilltop waiting for that perfect bolt of lightening. I hope that he would be happy with what I have done and where I am going. I am still growing as a photographer and everyday I feel I learn to 'see' a little better.
